Hello, I’m Nadia Berry!

I’m the founder and heart behind Berry Space Nutrition and a Registered Dietitian who decided to take the road less traveled (away from diet culture and food rules) because, honestly, there’s enough stress around eating already.

Early in my career, I worked with a woman in her 80s who had spent decades dieting, trying to “fix” her relationship with food, only to feel more exhausted and stuck than ever. That moment made me realize healing isn’t about restriction or rules; it’s about compassion, flexibility, and listening to your unique story.

So, I created a space where practical nutrition meets genuine support (and a little humor) to help you build a balanced, nourishing relationship with food that feels right for you. I meet you exactly where you are, tailoring care to your journey and empowering you to live a life aligned with your values-not a one-size-fits-all plan.

Experience, Education & Everything in Between

I’ve always believed that helping people heal their relationship with food takes more than just credentials-it takes presence, curiosity, and a whole lot of compassion. My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and person-centered approach, which means I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions-because people aren’t one-size-fits-all.

I work with individuals across a wide range of experiences and diagnoses, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, and those who may not have a formal diagnosis but still feel stuck in patterns of disordered eating or chronic dieting. You don’t need a specific label to deserve support-if your relationship with food feels overwhelming, distressing, or all-consuming, you’re in the right place.

I received my degree in Nutrition and Foods with a concentration in Dietetics and a minor in General Business from Appalachian State University. I went on to complete a dietetic internship and received my Registered Dietitian credential. My experience spans clinical, outpatient, and private practice settings. I also have experience working at Higher Levels of Care, this has allowed me to have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs when transitioning to outpatient care.

My practice is grounded in values of autonomy, humor, consent, and trust-and I work hard to create a space where your full self is welcome, not just the parts that feel polished.

the fun stuff.

Beyond nutrition and recovery, this is a space to share a bit of the person behind the work. From unpopular opinions to small joys, these fun facts offer a glimpse into what makes me, well, me.
